SUNDAY, AUGUST 9, 2020 - 4PM
Live Streamed from HUDSON HALL
IN CELEBRATION OF OUR 14th ANNIVERSARY
The Hudson Jazz Workshop is a weekend immersion in Jazz improvisation and composition, with two of today's leading practitioners of duo playing, Armen Donelian and Marc Mommaas. For fourteen years every summer, we have offered a supportive and focused atmosphere conducive to intensive study and mutual encouragement, through individual and group instruction, jam sessions and a faculty/student concert. Our enrollment is limited to 10 participants. Scholarship support is available. Wholesome meals are freshly prepared. This is a unique opportunity for musicians to freely convene, connect and collaborate without academic pressures or commercial distractions.
Our Special Guest in 2020 is Jay Anderson, bassist, composer, educator and musician extraordinaire.
